DoFu Delight® EZ Preparation
Caution: The preparation involves boiling water and handling of hot liquid. Using the recipes is entirely at the users' own risk. Back to Recipes List
Materials:
1.
DoFu Delight®
(flavor of your choice) - 1 package.
2. Water* - 3˝ cups (28 fl. oz.).
*The firmness of the jelly can be adjusted here: for firmer
jelly, use less water; for softer jelly, use more water.
If prefer sweeter jelly, add more sugar at this point.
3. Milk* - 1˝
(12 fl. oz.).
*
Options: a. Replace milk with soy milk or non-dairy
creamer to avoid lactase. Or
b. Replace milk with same amount of water for a no-milk clear jelly (see
pictures below). Or
c. Replace milk with sweetened condense milk to make a sweeter jelly.
4. Optional
- drained fruit cocktail or diced fresh fruits.
Preparation:
1. Mix DoFu Delight®
powder with water in a saucepan.
2. Stir
and bring to a
boil over medium heat for about
15 seconds. (The cloudy liquid
mixture will turn translucent.)
3. Remove from heat, add in milk (or
any one of above options) and mix well.
4. Carefully transfer
the hot liquid mix into a flat-bottom baking pan*.
Allow to cool to near room temperature,then refrigerate until set.
5. Cut jelly into to cubes and serve as is or top with fresh or canned fruits for
a delightful treat.

*Alternatively, the hot liquid mix may be directly transferred into
heat-resistant serving cups.
Top
it with shaved ice for a nice, cool Summer treat.
Clear DoFu Delight(r) Jelly
These DoFu jelly are prepared without/or a little milk to create
different moods (shades) of delights. Sure, you can always do it
differently; be creative!
